The Management of Egnatia AETTEK:
- Has determined the optimal level of quality for its work, aligning with both the requirements of applicable Greek legislation and the specialized needs of its clients.
- Commits to operating in a manner that achieves high performance in environmental management, health, and safety, considering the best techno-economic options and adhering to national and EU legislation, as well as related regulations (e.g., ILO, client specifications, and guidelines).
- Is dedicated to the continuous improvement of its management system, preventing environmental pollution, and reducing the risks of workplace accidents and occupational diseases.
- Has documented its policies and objectives for quality, health, safety, and environmental management. Each department manager is responsible for ensuring the company’s policy objectives are understood, implemented, and maintained within their scope of responsibility. The company’s strategic goal is to satisfy its clients regarding quality, health, safety, and environmental management.
Specifically, the company’s regular objectives include:
- Designing and producing steel structures safely and with respect for the environment, as per relevant specifications, at competitive costs.
- Managing operations to achieve optimal quality outcomes through the efficient use of resources and personnel, while ensuring workplace and societal safety and minimizing adverse environmental impacts.
- Continuously monitoring the impact of the company’s activities on health, safety, and the environment, both for employees and the wider community, and implementing appropriate preventive and corrective measures.
- Setting measurable goals and corresponding programs to improve health and safety conditions as well as effective environmental management.
- Facilitating communication with all stakeholders – employees, suppliers, the local community, and similar businesses – on health, safety, and environmental management across the company’s activities to assess all related data.
To achieve these goals:
- Collaborates with external partners based on specific criteria (see External Partner Evaluation Forms) regarding quality, adherence to health, safety, and environmental management legislation.
- Monitors all stages of work within the company for compliance with quality, health, safety, and environmental management standards.
- Continuously trains its personnel on quality, health, safety, and environmental management to update knowledge and foster employee participation and cooperation.
- Ensures the proper functioning of the management system and its annual review and improvement, maintaining technical adequacy across all operations.
- Pledges to comply with Greek and EU environmental legislation and health and safety regulations relevant to its activities.
- Commits to preventing workplace accidents, occupational illnesses, and environmental pollution.
- Engages in dialogue with the public, clients, and suppliers regarding its environmental and health and safety actions.
